BEFORE I TELL YOUR STORY...

let me tell you mine..

Originally from the Eastern Cape I now live in Sandton, Johannesburg with my husband Jonathan, daughters Quinn (5) and Arielle (3) Being creative has always been a part of me in some sort of way - from painting to jewellery making, etc. Photography has been a constant in my life for as long as I can remember so becoming a photographer of people has been the most natural and organic process. I remember sitting for hours going through my grandparents photo albums and imagining the story behind the photograph

I really do believe that my camera is an extension of me - of my heart, and I honestly believe that I was made to do this.

I feel a great sense of purpose, pride, privilege and immense joy when I get to photograph the love and unbreakable bond of a family. I am particularly passionate about taking beautiful portraits of Mothers with their little loves. Mom's deserve breathtaking images of themselves with their children. Mothers are so often behind the scenes and I love capturing them in their season of Motherhood. It is the most beautiful and raw season of your life and an absolute privilege to capture.

New adventures, the bush (oh I love the bush), watching my daughters experience new things for the first time, make my heart skip a beat.

Our time together will naturally flow. I am not here to pose you for the whole time that we are together. I want to capture your family in the season you find yourself in, in a raw and honest way. I want to capture the everyday, mundane things that in time become of great value.
